Fluid flow in circular and noncircular pipes is commonly encountered in practice. In this experiment you will investigate the frictional forces inherent in laminar and turbulent pipe flow. The pressure drop due to two major reasons, namely the pipe friction and lose from fittings and valves. Finally, the energy required to pump up designed liquid will be calculated.

The change in pumping energy requirements with respect to mass flowrate and the total length of the piping system
